Kraken is one of the world’s first and most trusted crypto exchanges. Founded by crypto OGs and built for unshakable security, it’s now trusted by more than 15 million people.
A Refreshed Brand
When I joined Kraken, the brand was pretty bare and needed to be reworked from the ground up. It needed personality, motion, and photography to bring it all to life.
I led the creation of a new 3d illustration and motion system that would be used for both product and marketing.
I designed the illustration system to be able to represent complex crypto topics in simple and abstract ways.
The Foundation
The illustration and motion system became the base for all visuals created for product and marketing.
The system was flexible enough to be used in everything from product to web landing pages to big OOH campaigns.

I worked closely with our official partners which included Atlassian Williams F1, Atlético Madrid, and Tottenham Hotspur F.C.
The collaborations included work on big OOH campaigns like the Piccadilly Circus takeover during the British Grand Prix and designing elements for Fan Zones all over the world.
