Krak is Kraken’s new global money app. A clean, intuitive way to send, spend, and receive crypto across borders and currencies. For free. Think PayPal or Venmo, but way smoother, and built for people who are curious about crypto.

Krak was launched as a sub brand of Kraken, so it needed to have it’s own identity and style but still be recognizable and fit within the Kraken brand world.

I developed a set of visual assets, illustrations, and motion that formed the building blocks for the brand within product and marketing. Coins, cash origami birds, debit cards, a set of relatable everyday objects to build out the Krak design toolkit.

From full page wraps in the New York Times to taking over Piccadilly Circus once again, the goal was to grab attention to this new product and brand.
